REPRO NANCHANG CJ-6 BLANK FRONT INSTRUMENT PANEL - flat condition
Having your Avionics shop install some updated equipment in your CJ?
This accurate reproduction of the factory front panel is a blank machined shell from 5052 billet, not a flat piece of sheet metal.
Most shops will have all the various avionics outlines they need to design and cut whatever layout you have in mind.
The lower few inches of your original Front CJ panel are bent up at an angle.
Once the desired holes have been cut, small notches must be added in the panel edges to allow this bend to be made. These notches are subsequently welded up and dressed to become invisible.
The Yak Collection can supply your custom-cut panel bent, with accurately located mounting holes, welded, with the welds dressed and the part Chemfilmed, ready for paint.
However, the price shown above is for a flat, blank panel only.
