Fuel Gauge, Yak 52
This is a refurbished twin rail fuel gauge.
People ask if they are "new". Because lets face it, they look pretty sharp.
I tell them that (in my opinion), since the last airplane left the factory in 1998, new ones would be very rare indeed.
The upper left button is the Push to Test for the red "last 12 liters" lights, the upper right rotating knob is the dimmer switch.
If you no longer have accurate fuel reporting in the front cockpit, it's probably best to ground your plane. At which point you either dig this retro look, or your diving into a JPI Fuel monitor project.
One is four screws and a couple of cannon plugs on the back, the other is, well...not for the faint-hearted.
Stick with Factory and leave the big adventures to Pee Wee.
