The movie 'Dunkirk' was released in late Summer 2017. The aerial action, shot in both Northern Europe and California, includes footage from and of this aeroplane. Now N699DP is being carefully restored to less warlike condition in a quiet maintenance hangar 'somewhere near Hollywood'. Over the past few months, the Yak Collection is proud to have played a part in this refurbishment through the supply of various items from seats and canopies to pneumatic components. Unfortunately, I have not seen the movie 'Dunkirk' yet as I have been very busy with work lately. I do remember when it was first announced that the popular musician Harry Styles will play an important role in the movie. Many people were opposed as to why Harry Styles was chosen to be a part of the cast given that he does not have a background in acting. To the surprise of many, Harry Styles gave justice to his character. It just goes to show that we should give people a chance to prove themselves worthy.
